OUCH!!!

This just in...

I can no longer do a back handspring on the ground without causing some serious bodily harm to myself. I was at my mom's tonight and thought that I would display my mad skills by doing some tumbling moves on the grass. Greg warned that I haven't stretched out in years and was no longer as limber as I used to be but I wanted to prove him wrong! So, I whipped out a roundoff back handspring and caused some serious pain to my elbow. But, I landed it and still have my pride, although I had to ice my elbow the rest of the night.

Alex said she was gonna blog about it to make fun of me, but I beat her to it!

Yes, you did beat her to it. How is the elbow feeling. Tomorrow will tell. Thanks for your kind words re: my emotional breakdown and the mom thing. I truly appreciate it and love you too!!!! Olivia is lucky to have you as her mother!

That's pretty impressive. But don't go too wild with the tumbling. You might embarass Olivia (and then hurt other body parts). But still, I'm impressed.

Wow I am impressed!! Way to not hurt your pride, way more important than a broken arm, what the crap girl. Good job. Thanks for your nice words, it was good to see you guys too and honestly I think I could just eat little Olivia up. What a cutie.

Nothing like the realization that you are an official HAS BEEN!!! I have only attempted those sort of moves on the tramp, but my ab muscles were still NOT impressed. But, the ice? Wow, you were really pushing it!

oh my you sweet thing, I have also come to discover that I am not as flexible and capable to do what I use to do in HS, which is so sad because we aren't even old. I really have to start dancing or something again. I hope you get feeling better soon, and didn't do some serious damage.
